Many of these demos were designed for Windows 95, in addition some require DIRECTX to be installed.
DIRECTX 5 is in D:\DIRECTX5 (where D: is your CDROM drive). Run the program DX5ENG.EXE. NOTE: DirectX runs under the Windows 95 operating system.
DIRECTX 3 is in D:\DIRECTX (where D: is your CDROM drive). Run the program DXSETUP.EXE. NOTE: DirectX runs under the Windows 95 operating system.
Occasionally we have demos that will run directly from the CDROM, This may not always be convenient and in most cases you can copy the entire directory structure of the game to your hard drive if desired. Note that some games require or insist that they be run from the CD to operate correctly.
Some of the DOS demos can be installed outside of Windows, below is a list of demos that you can install outside of the Windows interface. Exit Windows, Windows95 users: choose "Shut Down" on the Start Button and "Restart the computer in MS-DOS mode".
